The Global Student Accommodation Funds (GSAF) consist of three open ended unit trusts, denominated in USD, GBP, and EUR, which target development and acquisition opportunities in the student accommodation sector.
GSAF GBP targets investments in the UK, and is part of a joint venture with Harrison Street Real Estate (HSRE) which invests in the UCT portfolio. The UCT portfolio owns 5 UK student accommodation assets located in London, Nottingham, Newcastle, Sheffield and Lincoln.
GSAF EUR is focused on the Euro zone, and is also partnered with HSRE in a joint venture in Dublin, Ireland. The JV has already secured three opportunities in Dublin which will deliver over 900 beds by 2017, with further projects in the pipeline.
GSAF USD has developed the first student accommodation property in Dubai, UAE and is targeting further opportunities in high growth markets in the GCC and Asia Pacific regions.
